Nine students will Receive A Four-Year Scholarship of $5,000 Per Year From Schindler Elevator Corporation.
Morristown, NJ – July 24, 2012 – Schindler Elevator Corporation has announced the nine winners of its annual scholarship competition. Each recipient will receive a four-year scholarship of $5,000 per year, which may be applied to any bachelor’s degree program at a regionally accredited four-year college or university within the United States.
Schindler’s annual scholarship program is open to all children of Schindler employees in the United States who are juniors in high school. All participants were first screened on their PSAT scores taken in their junior year of high school. The top ranked students were then evaluated on their academic record, contributions to the school and community, self-description of activities, accomplishments and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
